Accommodations
For those wishing to stay at the La Fonda Hotel conference site:
Reservation of a room as early as possible is strongly encouraged because there are only 110 room at the hotel at the special conference rate. After they have been booked, participants will need to get a room at one of the many hotels within walking distance to the La Fonda Hotel. All participants and accompanying guests, independent of where they are staying, will be able to purchase a meal pass for eating breakfast and dinner at the La Fonda Hotel.
Reservations are made directly with the La Fonda Hotel via the downloadable reservation form which needs to be filled out and faxed to the La Fonda Hotel (505-954-3599). Be sure to use the conference code, 505072, in order to get the special room rate. To download the reservation form click on the appropriate download, either Microsoft Word or PDF version. (You may have to install a free copy of Acrobat Reader from Adobe’s web site.) It is highly likely that this software is already on your computer. Follow the instructions on the form. Those wishing to share a room, and have not made their own arrangements with a roommate, may make that request known to Kristi Huerta at "Huerta, Kristi" <khuerta@sandia.gov> or Shailene Eck at ssmyth@sandia.gov. She will take your name and match you with another conference participant and then when you have a roommate she will contact you and then you can contact La Fonda Reservation and tell them with whom you will be sharing a room.
Those who do not want a roommate can reserve a room for themselves now by clicking on the form below.
The reservation form lists two different types of
rooms available at two different prices.
The room rate for a room (for one or two persons) with one queen size bed is $169 per night for the room (not per person). If more than two people are in the room then there is a $15 charge per extra person over 13 years old.
The room rate for a room (for one or two persons) with two queen size beds is $179 per night for the room (not per person). If more than two people are in the room then there is a $15 charge per extra person over 13 years old.
Rooms will be assigned on a first-requested, first-served basis.
Early reservation is highly recommended.
Internet access will be available in the rooms for a fee and free at the business center of the hotel. All guest
rooms and meeting rooms are non-smoking.

For those staying at another loccation in Santa Fe, you will have to make your own housing reservations. You are strongly encouraged to buy the DMC Meal plan to eat your breakfast and dinner with the other conference participants at the La Fonda hotel.
